Hello

Hearing With the Heart has been founded with the deliberate intention of helping us to pursue what is worthy of our focus.  Until learning very rough lessons about the impact of our negative words, decades of my life were spent in low self-worth and depression.  However, rays of hope straight from God's Word and Christ-like people have continually rescued me.

Proverbs 18:21 says "there is the power of life and death in the tongue."  This verse resonated deeply, having experienced first-hand the death that results from continued negative words spoken aloud.  The pain was so deep my heart cried out that people should not have to live this way.  So, this verse, coupled with the very real experience of death by words , became a driving force to make sure the words I speak are words of life. 

We live in a world that all too often sends negative messages.  The truth is, we all have a purpose to live out.  In Hearing With the Heart, we can find inspiration to realize, embrace, plan, and actively live out that purpose.  When we come in desperation to see the patterns finally change, we find true freedom.
